What is the minimum age for entry?

Students typically join at age 14–15 for the Foundation Year or IB Year 1. Our Summer Camp accepts students from age 8 onwards.

What language level is required for the IB Diploma?

Students entering the IB Diploma Programme are expected to have a strong working knowledge of English, both written and spoken, to fully engage with the academic demands of the programme.

Can I apply mid-year?

Mid-year entry is considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to available places and the student’s academic profile.

Is a placement test required?

Most students complete a language and academic assessment as part of the admissions process. This helps us understand each student’s profile and ensure the right academic pathway and support.

Is the school full boarding or can students be day pupils?

École des Roches is a full boarding school. Residential life is central to our educational philosophy and all students in the academic year programmes live on campus.

How many nationalities are represented at the school?

What pastoral support is available?
